OVERVIEW
In response to the tragic brutality suffered by people of color in 2020, I partnered with Monica Britton West of Black Girl On Campus on the Dorothy Pearl Jones Britton Memorial Scholarship. Her organization BGOC helps prepare and equip Black female high school students on their path to college. The program will provide $1,000 in financial assistance towards their journey. My hopes are that the Flawless Crowns Group can increase the amount each year.
